The exact airport on your ticket

Save Las Américas International Airport and the SDQ code from your confirmed ticket. Santo Domingo also has La Isabela Airport, with the code JBQ; these are different airports. Send the provider the operating flight number, arrival date and airport from your itinerary. If you connect through another country, make sure you share the flight that actually arrives in Santo Domingo rather than the first leg of the journey. Check the date carefully for an overnight itinerary.

Arrivals

The address of your accommodation

Keep the property name, street or location description and a contact number together. A region or resort area is not a precise drop-off point. Ask the accommodation for the arrival instructions it gives drivers, and check that the name on your transfer confirmation matches the place you booked. Download the information before leaving a reliable internet connection.

Transportation

A contact and a communication plan

Agree on how you will reach the provider if your arrival changes. Save the company contact and confirmed meeting instructions, rather than only an advertisement. If your phone will have no roaming data, discuss an alternative beforehand. Download the details while you have a connection. Ask which public meeting point to use after baggage and customs; do not assume the driver can enter a restricted area or wait beside a particular carousel.

Location & maps

Your passenger and luggage details

Check that the booking includes everyone traveling and an accurate count of large bags. Mention strollers, mobility equipment, sports gear or child-seat requirements when requesting the vehicle. Ask for explicit confirmation of the arrangement. A vehicle described by passenger capacity alone may not answer the separate question of luggage space for your group.

The total price and change conditions

Save the agreed price, payment currency, inclusions and cancellation terms. Clarify how waiting time, delays and extra stops are treated. Keep the written confirmation with your itinerary. Our transportation guide explains useful questions to ask; SDQ Airport Transfer can receive an inquiry, but only the provider can confirm a specific pickup and its terms. An inquiry is not a reservation. Before departure, compare the saved confirmation with your latest flight details and ask the provider to acknowledge any changes in writing.

Your questions, answered.

Should I rely on a connection after landing?

Save instructions offline and agree on a communication plan with the provider before your flight.
